Job summary

Component Repair Technologies (CRT) in Mentor, OH is seeking a Machining Process Engineer focused on Turning, Milling, and Grinding (manual and CNC). You will lead continuous improvement projects to reduce rework, improve efficiency, and increase throughput while creating standard operating procedures for production to follow.

This role requires a strong technical background and project management experience with a CI mindset.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering/technical degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to interpret OEM repair manuals, FAA regulations, and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proactive problem solving.
• Experience with process improvement and tooling/fixturing design.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repair processes and data to reduce rework and improve throughput.
• Collaborate with Production Managers to implement efficiency plans.
• Develop or revise work instructions, tooling, and fixturing.
• Ensure quality testing meets FAA data and industry standards.
• Train others on processes, problem solving, and best practices.
