Job summary

PACCAR Engine Company in Columbus, Mississippi is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Machining SG 23 to develop and coordinate technical training for the plant and improve manufacturability of new designs.

You will review product designs, perform cost analyses, refine processes for launches, and create SOPs/PFMEAs while coordinating equipment changes and supplier modifications to support volume expansion.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or technical field (STEM).
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with CAD/CREO Parametric.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review new product designs for manufacturability.
• Provide production impact and cost analysis for designs.
• Develop and refine processes for product launch.
• Create or update SOPs and PFMEAs for new products.
• Plan and implement equipment changes within project timeframes.
