Job summary

Our client in Decatur, TX is seeking a Machining Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of CNC machinery within the Industrial department. You will perform advanced maintenance, installations, relocations, upgrades, and repairs to keep production running.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of machine tool maintenance experience, with familiarity in Gib and Way Scraping, Turcite installation, and knowledge of ball screws, worm gears, and transmissions.

Qualifications

• At least 4+ years of experience in machine tool maintenance.
• Familiarity with rebuilds utilizing Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of ball screws, worm gears, and transmissions.
• Electrical aptitude with understanding of safety circuits, timers, servos, HMIs, etc.
• Experience with CNC systems such as Fanuc, Mazatrol, and knowledge of PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced CNC maintenance services to support production goals.
• Handle equipment installation, relocation, upgrades, and repairs.
• Service various types and brands of CNC machines including EDM, Wire saw, laser engraving, and robot loaders.
• Self-diagnose complex machine tool problems and lead repair efforts to ensure maximum machine uptime.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule preventive maintenance to optimize machine reliability.

Pay Range: $29hr- $42hr

Shift: 6am - 3:45pm (Must be open to overtime)
