Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled Machinist/Setup Operator for our Union Grove, AL facility. You will set up and operate machine tools to produce close-tolerance parts from complex drawings, following SOPs and safety rules.

The role requires hands-on training of teammates, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to read blueprints. You will work onsite in a fast-paced environment supporting continuous improvement and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Formal trades training or equivalent experienc
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications
• Capable of setting up and operating a range of machining equipment
• Proven ability to train and lead other employees
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and training to other employees to develop skills and produce parts to specifications.
• Monitor the work of other employees and ensure adherence to SOPs.
• Check specifications and determine tooling or fixturing requirements.
• Set up and operate machines in the department to produce components.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and work with teams to improve processes.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
