Job summary

Regal Rexnord in the United States is seeking a Machinist I to produce precision components using CNC and manual machines. You will set up machines, interpret drawings, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to maintain tight tolerances and high quality.

This onsite role requires an associate degree in Machine Technology or equivalent experience (5+ years), strong math and blueprint reading skills, and the ability to program CNC lathes and mills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Technology or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills and tolerance analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for precision work.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling for accurate production.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to determine methods.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for operations.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections for quality.
• Maintain tight tolerances and dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify defective materials.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Design or modify fixtures and tooling as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to safety procedures.
