Job summary

Menzel LP, a Spartanburg, SC-based manufacturer and fabricator of web handling machinery, seeks a Sales Engineer to promote and secure new custom machinery opportunities.

The role involves collaborating with customers and designers to tailor solutions, developing estimates and quotes, and traveling across the US and internationally for trade shows and meetings. 3+ years in machinery sales preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but extensive machinery sales experience considered.
• 3+ years of machinery sales experience or 10+ years of other custom engineered product sales experience.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and Menzel machinery designers to bring needs and solutions together.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Experience developing machinery estimates and quotes based on guidelines.
• Experience with CRMs such as Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
• Document opportunities, follow-up for closure and report details through Zoho CRM.

Responsibilities

• Help customers clarify their needs and present proposals for machinery solutions.
• Promote and secure new custom machinery opportunities.
• Travel throughout the US as needed and internationally for trade shows and meetings.
