Job summary

Auria is seeking a skilled Machine Repair technician to join the Fremont Plant team. You will troubleshoot and repair machinery and support equipment, performing preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include assisting in process improvements, coaching apprentices when needed, and completing fabrication tasks to enable continuous improvements, all while adhering to plant rules and maintaining a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and light electrical.
• Formal education in industrial machine repair, maintenance, and/or electrical is a plus.
• Basic fabrication and welding skills, and operation of fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read machine prints and schematics.
• Ability to use basic shop tools; provide your own tools (tool allowance provided).
• Willingness to participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment and facility structures to support operations.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment per schedules.
• Assist in developing process improvement projects for plant operations.
• May assist, coach, and teach apprentices when needed.
• Perform fabrication projects to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to all plant rules and regulations.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards job and coworkers.
• Any other duties assigned.
