PCSI seeks a Machinery Mechanic III to inspect, test, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery across facilities. You will perform welding (MIG/TIG/STICK) on steel, stainless steel and aluminum, fabricate components, and participate in continuous improvement of production lines.

Also you will monitor parts inventories, assist with wiring, ensure safety compliance, and train new staff while supporting a diverse range of equipment in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• 2–3 years working experience in manufacturing or mechanics.
• Proficiency in GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), and SMAW (Stick) welding and brazing on steels and aluminum.
• Experience in metal fabrication and sheet metal work in industrial settings.
• AWS welding certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Observe operation of manufacturing machinery and identify issues.
• Test machines and make recommendations for continued operation.
• Disassemble and repair malfunctioning equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Operate repaired machines to confirm full functionality.
• Clean, test and lubricate machine parts on a schedule.
• Evaluate machine efficiency and suggest upgrades to improve output.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance per government maintenance schedules.
• Monitor inventories and notify when parts are needed.
• Assist electricians with wiring installations and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and support SWRMC operations testing and equipment inspections.
• Develop reports from market research to improve manufacturing processes.
• Train new employees on proper operating practices.
