EKL Machine in Andalusia, PA is seeking a maintenance mechanic to install, repair, and maintain machinery in a precision climate-controlled shop. The role emphasizes regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and is comfortable using hand and power tools. First shift hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years as maintenance mechanic or similar role.
• Trade or vocational school graduation preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Function

The maintenance mechanic’s primary duty is to install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. The maintenance mechanic's responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, and fulfilling other duties such as building maintenance as assigned.
