Job summary

EKL Machine is a well-established tooling manufacturer and engineering company with a precision climate-controlled machine shop in Andalusia, PA. The maintenance mechanic will install, repair, and maintain machinery, performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Trade or vocational school graduation preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operation manuals.
• Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
• Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as needed.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Perform general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
