Job summary

Pella Corporation is seeking a Construction Technician-3 to install, move, and remove machinery and related systems, perform minor repairs on plant buildings, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires adaptability to hazardous environments and teamwork in a dynamic plant setting.

Ideal candidates will have manufacturing or construction experience, strong mechanical and math aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing related experience preferred.
• Previous construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
• Regular/dependable attendance required.
• Flexibility of work hours including overtime, off-site travel and off-shift work.
• Able to work with and around moving equipment/machines.
• Install, move, and remove machinery, dust collection, electrical, air, water, and sewer systems.
• Repair and perform minor modifications of building and plant property.
• Must maintain a PIV license.
• Ability to rotate to other positions as needed.
• Support Continuous Improvement teams and other activities as assigned.
