Job summary

Elevait Solutions LLC is seeking a Machine Vision and Metrology Engineer to define, develop, and deploy optical and computer vision measurement systems on the Erwin, NY manufacturing floor. You will collaborate with Quality, IT, Purchasing, and Operations to move measurement tech from development to production-ready implementation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in optics, physics, EE, or CE with 3+ years hands-on machine vision experience.
• Hands-on vision system experience with optics, lighting, cameras and lasers.
• Proficiency in C# or Python in Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and deploy optical and computer vision measurement and inspection systems with cross-functional teams.

• Take measurement technology from early development to production-ready systems on the manufacturing floor.
• Design experiments and analyze data to improve measurement systems and processes.
• Create release documentation including machine specifications and operating procedures.
• Install, check out, and troubleshoot electrical, optical, and mechanical systems onsite and remotely.
• Train engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to use and maintain the systems.
