Base pay range: $36.50/hr - $43.00/hr

Summary

The Machine Shop Quality Inspector – CMM Programmer programs CMM and supports Quality Assurance with inspection of parts using metrology equipment. Reports to the Quality Manager.

Schedule

Days: 5am-3:30pm

Swing: 3pm-1:30am

Responsibilities

• Program Hexagon CMM and Romer Arm with PCDemis software and perform associated inspections.
• Create part setup plans for CMM.
• Provide feedback to machine shop and engineering for adjustments as needed.
• Perform measurement inspections of parts, including AS9102 First Article Inspection.
• Document nonconformances.
• Assist Quality Assurance with other tasks as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with inspectors, machinists, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with GD&T.
• 3+ years programming Hexagon CMM and PCDemis software.
• Experience with AS9100 or similar quality system.
• Epicor ERP experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
