Job summary

Selux Corporation in New York, NY is seeking a Full-Time Machine Shop Operator to help build high-end architectural lighting products. You will work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm, starting pay $18-$20 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, and 401K with company match. Responsibilities include operating sheet metal punching and forming machines, milling and drilling, reading

Qualifications

• Prefer machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.
• Automotive, construction and other manufacturing relevant experience welcome.
• Metal fabrication a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

• Operate saws, milling machines and other machinery to cut and prepare metal parts according to specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
