Job summary

Selux Corporation in Highland is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and electrical assembly with a team. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, in a 4-day work week with an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, and 401k match.

You will follow standardized work instructions, use hand and power tools, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Overview

Selux, in Highland, is currently accepting applications for an Assembly Technician.

Pay rate: $18.00/hour

Assemblersuse a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment. Indidviduals will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble mechanical and electrical parts with the team.

Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm 4 day work week

Responsibilities

• Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
• Utilizes manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
• Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
• Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
• Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
