Job summary

Selux-US in Highland, NY is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a team that builds mechanical and electrical components. Pay rate: $18.00/hour.

Assemblers use hand and power tools, fixtures and test equipment to assemble parts with the team. The position runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering a four‑day work week and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and measuring tools.
• Ability to meet production standard times.

Responsibilities

• Employ lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
• Utilize manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
• Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures while meeting production standard times to ensure continuous work flow.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during assembly processes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations.
• Communicate openly and proactively to address any challenges or issues that may arise during the assembly process.
• Performs ERP transactions accurately to company policies and procedures.
• Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Overview

Selux, in Highland, is currently accepting applications for an Assembly Technician.

Pay rate: $18.00/hour

Assemblersuse a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment. Indidviduals will perform a series of operations to correctly assemble mechanical and electrical parts with the team.

Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm 4 day work week
