General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in North Kingstown, RI seeks a Technical Support Analyst to support the machine shop and detail planning. You will create routings, maintain paperwork, and assist in delivery requests to keep production moving.

A strong candidate reads blueprints, works with GD&T concepts, and collaborates with planning and programming to ensure efficient methods. Proficiency with Excel and factory ERP systems is expected.

Formación

• High School or technical school graduate required.
• Machine shop experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Strong computer skills; Excel.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb in enclosed machines.
• Comprehensive understanding of GD&T preferred.
• LEAN manufacturing understanding preferred.
• Competency in EWP and Applecore preferred.
• CAD experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain all machine shop routings for Rev Control and current statuses.
• Coordinate with production planning in managing machine capacity.
• Coordinate with programming to ensure manufacturing methods are efficient.
• Support varying tasks and projects as directed by supervision.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T callouts.
• Research Mil-Spec standards, SP and SSP for the shop.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment.
