Discflo Corporation in Santee, CA is seeking a Machine Shop Lead/Setup Technician to oversee daily shop operations, lead machinists, and ensure efficient production. This role requires strong CNC programming, tooling, and GD&T skills, plus hands-on leadership on the shop floor from start to finish each day.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, ensure quality parts, and coordinate with Production and Engineering to optimize cycle times while maintaining a safe, clean work

Formación

• Extensive experience operating and setting up CNC machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading shop floor personnel and coordinating daily operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily leadership and direction to machine shop personnel.
• Maintain a continuous presence on the shop floor to support operators and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure machine shop activities align with production schedules and company objectives.
• Verify CNC programs and setups prior to production.
• Review tooling, fixtures, and work offsets to ensure correct parameters.
• Drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and track productivity.
• Ensure parts produced meet specifications and quality standards.
• Lead safety and housekeeping in the shop.
