Certified PowerTrain seeks a skilled CNC Machinist Lead to operate and oversee production machines, ensuring parts meet prints and quality specifications while driving efficiency, accuracy, and on-time production delivery.

You will interpret engineering drawings, set up tooling, verify offsets, document quality data and production metrics for reports, support preventive maintenance, mentor team members, and contribute to ongoing process improvements in a safe, organized shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and mills.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Skilled in documenting production data and quality metrics accurately and consistently.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC machines, including setting up tooling, checking inserts, making offsets, and deburring finished parts.
• Manufacture components accurately according to engineering prints and specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet required standards.
• Accurately document quality data and production metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support preventive maintenance by performing routine checks and informing maintenance staff of issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per company policies.
• Review production schedules, prioritize tasks, and prepare equipment and materials for daily operations.
• Conduct light corrective maintenance on machinery to address minor issues promptly.
• Safely handle materials and components throughout the production process.
• Contribute to process improvements, including the development of new fixturing and tooling solutions.
