Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to set up operating machines, monitor ramp-up, and support maintenance to prevent downtime. The role requires reading and following English instructions, basic machine operation, and safety compliance on the production floor.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, good visual acuity, and the ability to lift moderate loads. Experience with measuring tools and power tools is valued, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate basic machinery.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Preferred: minimum 1 year of experience operating machines in manufacturing.
• Preferred: experience with power tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up of operating machines including first checks and test sequences.
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines.
• Support maintenance in repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product/product component and submits for approval.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
