Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Safety Engineer to lead machine risk management efforts at our Elizabeth, NJ site. This role collaborates with internal and external clients to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes, with up to 15% travel per year.

You will drive risk assessments, safeguarding, and continuous improvement across machine safety, controls, and equipment projects from design through commissioning and validation.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related technical field required.
• Certifications: CMSE, TÜV or equivalent safety certification.
• 5+ years in manufacturing/automation with machine safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the site's machine safety program in line with regulatory standards.
• Conduct machine risk assessments and implement safeguarding solutions.
• Manage machine safety, automation, and equipment improvement projects from design to validation.
• Monitor program performance via audits, metrics, corrective actions, and documentation.
• Serve as the site's technical expert for machine safety and control systems.
