Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, a leading Oshkosh company, seeks a Machine Repair Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems at the airport. The role requires mechanical and electrical expertise and a keen eye for safety and reliability.

You will log maintenance data in CMMS, operate forklifts and other equipment, and respond to calls while adhering to safety protocols and company standards. Shift options include 1st or 2nd, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Available to work 1st or 2nd shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with 480V and 3-phase motors.
• Familiarity with Airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC-controlled baggage and conveyor systems to ensure smooth airport operations.
• Service and repair PLC-driven conveyor and baggage systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Log detailed maintenance data into the CMMS.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, golf carts, and company vehicles.
• Respond to maintenance calls and assist in clearing baggage jams.
• Comply with safety program and trainings.
