Job summary

Chesapeake Automotive Equipment is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair essential automotive equipment for our clients in Chesapeake, VA. You will work directly with customers, ensuring lifts, compressors, and repair tools are safe and fully operational.

Ideal candidates bring mechanical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently on service calls, while maintaining clear communication with customers and documenting maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience installing and servicing automotive equipment, including lifts and compressors.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in automotive shop environments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Your Role

As a Machine Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing essential automotive equipment. • Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work in various conditions, including tight spaces and outdoor environments
