Snap-on is seeking a Machine Repair Associate for the 3rd shift (10pm–6am) in Milwaukee. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair CNC equipment, ensuring smooth operation of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on complex machines.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairing control issues, and rebuilds of gear boxes and motors, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret part diagrams.
  • Able to use shop mathematics and read drawings; strong troubleshooting ability.
  • Competencies: experience with motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.

Overview

3rd Shift opening: 10pm - 6am $35.85/hourThe Machine Repair associate will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components on CNC equipment.

  • High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environmentWill be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-onAbility to read and interpret part diagramsAbility to use shop mathematics, work with fairly complicated drawings, and good troublshooting abilityCompetencies: Demonstrated experience in mechanical maintenance including motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
