Job summary

Snap-on Milwaukee is seeking a CNC Repair Associate for the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) with a pay rate of $38.86 per hour. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns on CNC machines, using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.

Responsibilities include ensuring CNC and related equipment operate reliably, repairing control issues, and performing hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical tasks on de‑energized circuits, plus rebuilding gear boxes

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior CNC experience required.
• Must pass the eligibility test provided by Snap-on.
• Ability to read and interpret part diagrams; good troubleshooting.

The CNC Repair associate is required to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components on CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous CNC experience required
• Will be required to pass the eligibility test provided by Snap‑on
• Ability to read and interpret part diagrams
• Ability to use shop mathematics, work with fairly complicated drawings, and good troubleshooting ability

Competencies

Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps.
