Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking Machine Operators to join our production team in York. The role offers a starting pay of $20+ per hour plus a $1.25 per hour shift differential, with a 6 PM–6 AM 2/2/3 rotation.

You’ll operate and set up packaging machinery, meet daily goals, and work in a clean, safety‑minded environment. We value reliability and teamwork and provide benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical coverage, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate machinery safely.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and SOPs.
• Basic math and tape measure reading.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and complete tasks within daily goals.
• Tear down and set up jobs.
• Load and unload product.
• Interpret written information (work orders, SOPs).
• Palletize and bag product.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Work in a team environment and follow SOPs.

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operating machinery
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Tearing down and setting up jobs
• Loading and unloading of product
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Palletization and bagging
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOP’s
• SOP’s may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
  • Employee Health & Safety
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured
