Job summary

Role Description

Machine Operators at KettleStone Foods are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure consistent and safe food manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include verifying machine settings, feeding materials into equipment, inspecting products for quality and accuracy, and performing basic adjustments to maintain smooth operation. Machine Operators also complete routine cleaning around their workstations, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and report any equipment issues to maintenance or supervisors. Accurate documentation of production data and effective communication with team members and leadership are essential parts of the role. This is an on-site role located in Sharon, PA.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and monitor production equipment, with skills in Machine Operation and working with Machinery.
• Experience or aptitude in Quality Control, including inspecting products and following established standards.
• Comfort using basic Hand Tools for minor adjustments and routine equipment checks.
• Strong Communication skills to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Attention to safety and sanitation, with the ability to follow written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or industrial production is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to complete on-the-job training and learn new equipment.
