Mississippi Department of Employment Security seeks production workers in Belden, MS for a temp-to-hire role. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with $19.60 per hour after direct hire and an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential. Training runs 6:00 a.m.

to 2:45 p.m., with potential 12-hour shifts later, including nights. The schedule may transition to 12-hour shifts from January, with opportunities to move to second or night shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Support the production line and follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Operate or work around production machinery and automated equipment.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and perform quality checks to identify defects.
• Operate forklifts and cranes when trained and assigned.
• Complete rework and production paperwork and participate in 5S and continuous-improvement activities.
• Communicate effectively with the production team.

No high school diploma or GED is required to start, although one is required for advancement

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Supporting the production line
• Following all safety, quality and production procedures
• Operating or working around production machinery and automated equipment
• Completing daily equipment inspections
• Operating forklifts and cranes when trained and assigned
• Performing quality checks and identifying defects
• Using tape measures, calipers, micrometers and other measuring devices
• Completing rework and production paperwork
• Participating in 5S and continuous-improvement activities
• Communicating and working effectively with the production team
