Job summary

Amplitude HR is seeking a Machine Operator for plastic injection molding in a on-site facility. The role requires operating and maintaining presses, performing trimming and deburring, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates can learn air and hand tool operations, perform basic math, and work well in a team. Overtime including weekends may be required as production needs demand.

Qualifications

• Able to learn air tool operation (sander, grinder, paint gun).
• Able to learn hand tools (drills, scrapers, hammer).
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain injection molding, stamping and flexo presses.
• Perform trimming and deburring to meet quality specifications.
• Use sanders and paint raw products as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specs.
• Collaborate with team to reach production goals.
• Handle materials safely and follow safety protocols.
• Package products for shipment and assist with setup.

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Duties

• Operate and maintain various types of machinery including injection molding, stamping presses, and flexo presses.
• Perform trimming operations to ensure products meet quality specifications and deburring excess material on products
• Use sanders
• Paint raw product to consumer liking
• Make sure product is to quality specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly lines to meet production goals.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols within the manufacturing facility.
• Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for assembly and fabrication tasks.
• Participate in quality control processes to maintain high standards of production output.
• Repetitive use of hands and lifting Will be working with chemicals
• Package and prepare product for shipment

Qualifications

• Capable of learning air tool operation ( sander, grinder, paint gun, etc.)
