The successful candidate will operate molding equipment, read work orders and blueprints, prepare molds, and monitor production cycles while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation preferred.
• Aerospace, plastics, fabrication, CNC, or quality inspection experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotational molding equipment and assist with production cycles.
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Prepare molds by cleaning them and installing inserts, pins, and other components.
• Measure and prepare the correct resin, dye, powder, and materials for each production run.
• Mount molds onto machine arms and prepare equipment for production.
• Monitor production cycles and inspect finished products for quality.
• Remove finished parts from molds and trim excess material and end caps.
• Clean, repair, and prepare finished parts for packaging.
• Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
• Perform basic machine checks and preventative maintenance.
• Identify potential defects or machine-related issues.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Work with the team to improve production efficiency and quality.

Job Store Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator - Molding Operator for a local manufacturing company. This is a hands-on production position working as part of a team to produce high-quality plastic components used in the aerospace industry.

Location: Fountain, CO Pay Range: $21.00 – $22.00 / hour Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday

In this position you will be utilizing a variety of hand tools for trimming, routing, drilling, riveting, bonding and welding of thermoplastic parts to satisfy blueprint customer and traveler requirements to produce detail parts or assemblies.
