Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Machine Operator/Helper to run converting machines, perform setup, operation, cleanup, and recommend improvements.

Prior experience with Flexo or folder/glue machinery is preferred, but training will be provided. The role requires reading factory masters, inspecting dies, completing production and safety data reports, and coordinating with supervision on maintenance and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Flexo or folder/glue machinery is preferred
• Training provided for the role
• Ability to read and follow factory masters
• Attention to quality and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut sections accurately
• Inspect dies before and after runs and ensure repairs
• Ensure bolts for cutting dies are secure
• Monitor box quality including liner, warp, size, and print
• Operate machinery to maximize capacity and efficiency
• Cross-train on other machines
• Complete production, status, safety, and quality reports
• Submit maintenance work orders for needed repairs
• Adhere to production schedules and assist optimization
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures
