Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant to keep machines supplied with paper, ink, glue and cartons while learning flexographic and converting mechanics. Positions include first and second shifts, Monday to Friday, with a clean work environment.

Ideal candidates have prior machine operating and packaging experience, ability to manage large rolls, and basic math with good verbal and written communication. PPE and safety rules apply on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating and packaging experience preferred.
• Experience with large rolls of paper or plastic preferred.
• Knowledge and use of various hand tools including tape measure, screwdriver, wrenches, etc.
• Good verbal and written skills required.
• Basic Math required.
• Maintain a safe working environment on production lines.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Change paper rolls and printing plates.
• Monitor and keep machine supplied with paper, glue, and ink.
• Pack paper bags as necessary.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
