Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is seeking a motivated bindery operator to learn and operate high-speed bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders. You will keep machines running smoothly and help the team meet daily production goals.

This first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30AM–3PM with potential overtime, requires teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided; prior bindery experience is not required.

Qualifications

Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)

Responsibilities

Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.

This is a 1st shift position - working Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3PM with potential for overtime hours.

What You 0ll Do

Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.

On your feet for most of the shift

Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
