Local Bounti in Mount Pleasant, Texas, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. You will help harvest and prepare our fresh, locally grown produce for customers, working closely with maintenance, harvest and pack areas, and the growing team.

The role emphasizes practical mechanical skills, safe operation of multiple machines, teamwork, and clear communication to keep production running at high quality with minimal waste.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months related experience or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong knowledge of machinery and tools.

Responsibilities

• Strong mechanical knowledge of multiple machines and tools, including their safe operation, uses, and maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic knowledge of the English language, including being able to read, speak, write, and to train others on operations, to include understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Analytical skills and the ability to use logic and reasoning to trouble shoot, identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to a problem.
• Communicate with team members, and support teams to ensure continuous, safe production of the product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
