Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering is hiring for Surface Mount (SMT) Operations to load and run the Surface Mount Placement machine, building printed circuit board assemblies. Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shift in Wisconsin.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to production documents, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in assembly, masking, and machine programming. Responsibilities include reading documents, prepping boards, loading feeders, verifying BOM accuracy, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with Mydata, Mycronic, and ASM software is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Verify component and part numbers against BOM for accuracy.
• Evaluate components for conformance and quantity.

We have immediate openings for individuals with Surface Mount (SMT) Operations. These positions load and/or run the Surface Mount Placement machine (Pick and Place) to manufacture printed circuit board assemblies.

Opportunities available on 1st and 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Read and follow production documents to fully understand the project at hand.
• Prep boards, mask, glue, and program screen-printer.
• Load feeders and magazines to ensure machine optimization.
• Verify component and manufacturing part number accuracy against B.O.M.
• Evaluate components for conformance and sufficient quantity.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on machines.
• Keep an accurate count of product at your workstation while inspecting every piece for defects

Required Education and Experience

1. High School diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
