Pro-Active Engineering is seeking a Machine Technician to program, operate, and maintain automated production equipment in a Wisconsin manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes quality and safety, following ISO standards and standard work methods.

The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and assist in spare parts management while training operators and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Experience in a fast-paced setting is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pro-Active Engineering, a leader in Printed Circuit Board assembly, has an opening for a Machine Technician. The Machine Technician programs, operates, and maintains automated production equipment. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to the company’s ISO Quality Management System.
• Program automated production equipment.
• Run and operate automated production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated production equipment.
• Troubleshoot automated production equipment either through personal knowledge or communicating with the manufacturers of the equipment.
• Order and maintain stock for spare parts of the automated production equipment.
• Train machine operators on how to appropriately operate the automated production equipment.
• Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
