Pro-Active Engineering is seeking an SMT Operator to load and run the surface mount placement machine for PCB assemblies in a fast-paced environment. You will read production documents, prep boards, load feeders, verify BOM accuracy, and contribute to quality control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Mydata, Mycronic and ASM software experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow production documents to fully understand the project.
• Prep boards, mask, glue, and program screen-printer.
• Load feeders and magazines to optimize the machine.
• Verify component and manufacturing part number accuracy against the BOM.
• Evaluate components for conformance and quantity.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on machines.
• Maintain accurate work-in-process counts and inspect for defects.
