Qualifications

  • Basic soldering experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with SMT assembly processes (preferred).
  • Experience operating automated SMT equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate SMT production equipment, including screen printers, glue dispensers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
  • Perform SMT machine changeovers and adjustments for various product types and production requirements.
  • Prepare component kits for manufacturing.
  • Clean printed circuit boards according to established procedures.
  • Perform basic soldering and SMT component rework (training provided).
  • Conduct visual inspections of SMT assemblies to ensure product quality.
  • Interpret IPC-A-610 standards and customer specifications to verify product acceptability.
  • Maintain accurate production and job tracking records.
  • Use hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions.
  • Support team members by assisting with production issues and training coworkers as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.

Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented SMT Operators to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment used to produce electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate has experience in electronics manufacturing, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
