Weiss-Aug – East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Machine Operator- Stamping to support daily press room activities during production runs. The role emphasizes quality checks, safety, and adherence to ISO/QS/TS/IATF standards, with cross-training across departments.

The position requires a high school diploma, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; wage is discussed at hire.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow all departmental documentation and procedures; cross-training in different areas as needed.
• Verify production and quality standards for parts processed.
• Verify equipment and fixtures operate safely and efficiently.
• Verify accuracy of labels, travel tickets, WIP tracking info, and log sheets.
• Review docs and processes; suggest improvements.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and policy adherence throughout the company.
• Assist in 8D and customer complaint investigations as required.
• Participate in ISO/QS/TS/IATF audits and customer audits as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by team lead or management.
• Use Plex to update press status and print lot control tickets.
• Perform quality checks using vision and gauges.
• Follow product routing for packaging instructions.
• Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment (degreasers, thread accumulators).

We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Machine Operator- Stamping to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for assist with daily press room activities during the production run.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all departmental documentation and procedures when performing all duties. This position requires the willingness to be cross trained in different areas of the Company. This flexibility and diversity allows Management to shift resource as needed.
• Verify that all production and quality standards are being met for all parts that are being processed.
• Verify that all equipment, fixtures, etc. are operating in a safe and efficient mode
• Verify that all documentation (labels, travel tickets, WIP tracking information, log sheets, etc.) are accurate.
• Review documentation, procedures and processes and make recommendations for improvements.
• Promote safety, cleanliness and process policies / procedures throughout the entire Company. Support the Company's mission statement and vision.
• Participate on a team for departmental 8D’s or Customer complaints. (as required)
• Participate in ISO/QS/TS/IATF and Customer internal and external audits. (as required)
• Perform other related duties assigned by Team Leader or Management. (as required)
• Use Plex to update press status, and print lot control tickets
• Perform quality checks, using vision and physical gauges
• Follow Product Routing for specific packaging instructions
• Operate and maintain Auxiliary Equipment (refill degreasers, thread accumulators etc.)

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work repetitively for extended periods of time.
• Must be a team player and can interact effectively with all departments within the Company.
• Performing both visual and physical gauge quality checks.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• ISO/QS/TS/IATF knowledge. (Preferred)
• A minimum of 2 years' work‑experience in a manufacturing environment. (Preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

This position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.

Pay Range: $18.50 per hour
