Job summary

Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator - Stamping at our East Hanover, NJ facility to assist with daily press room activities during production runs and help ensure high-quality output. The role emphasizes careful setup, quality checks, and collaboration with die setters and QC staff.

Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm. Pay is $18.50 per hour with a 15% shift differential. Requirements include a High School Diploma, fluent English, ability to read precision instruments, and the ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with ability to read and interpret measurement data.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and measurement tools.
• Ability to read production documents and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Change and set up production reel.
• Rewind production reels.
• Edit reels for Quantity, Quality, etc.
• Rewind interliner.
• Change production totes.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Maintain Lot Control ticket system.
• During production run, submit samples to QC as per Routing.
• Coordinate packaging material requirements between Press Room and Warehouse.
• Perform visual quality checks.
• Perform gauging verification (Go – No Go gauges).
• Interface with Die Setter and QC for support functions.
• Operate Power Press according to Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. standards.

Requirements

• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and conduct basic arithmetic calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods to time

This position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.

Pay Range

$18.50 per hour plus 15% shift differential
