Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Machine Operator - Stamping to support daily press room activities during production runs.

You will set up and change production reels, rewind and edit reels, and coordinate packaging with the warehouse while maintaining quality checks and lot control. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, fluency in English, the ability to read precision measuring instruments, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Change and set up production reels.
• Rewind production reels and edit reels for quantity and quality.
• Maintain production totes and clean work area.
• Maintain Lot Control ticket system and QC submissions.
• Coordinate packaging material requirements with Press Room and Warehouse.
• Perform visual checks and gauge verifications during production.
• Interface with Die Setter and QC for support functions.
• Operate Power Press according to company standards.

We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Machine Operator - Stamping to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for assisting with daily press room activities during the production run.

Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Responsibilities

• Change and set up production reel.
• Rewind production reels.
• Edit reels for Quantity, Quality, etc.
• Rewind interliner.
• Change production totes.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Maintain Lot Control ticket system.
• During production run, maintain sample submission to Q.C. according to Routing.
• Coordinate packaging material requirements between Press Room and Warehouse.
• Perform required visual checks to verify quality of product.
• During production run perform gauging verification (Go – No Go gauges).
• Interface with Die Setter and Q. C. providing support functions.
• Operate Power Press according to Weiss-Aug Co. Inc. standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and conduct basic arithmetic calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods to time

This position is at our East Hanover, NJ location.

Pay Range

$18.50 per hour plus 15% shift differential
