Job summary

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and may benefit from prior corrugated industry experience; lift truck license is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with a focus on safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper preferred.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on converting machine following proper setup techniques.
• Inspect dies before and after run and address repairs before the next run.
• Ensure bolts for cutting dies are in place and secured.
• Monitor box quality including liner, warp, size and print.
• Maximize equipment utilization by running at capacity and speed.
• Train and assist First Helper, Flexo Stacker, and Bundlers with duties on the machine.
• Cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports such as Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for needed repairs and proactively maintain equipment.
• Adhere to production schedule and suggest scheduling optimizations.
• Follow all company policies including safety and housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
