Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I for its BASX manufacturing facility. You will load production files, set up equipment, monitor performance, perform basic inspections, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Starting rate is $23.10 per hour with higher starting rates possible for relevant experience. C Shift 5AM–5PM Fri-Sun (12% differential) or D Shift 5PM–5AM Fri-Sun (15% differential). The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long hours, and wearing PPE in a loud environment

Responsibilities

• Perform basic visual inspections to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.
• Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production targets.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Starting Rate: $23.10 with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience and qualifications.

C Shift: Fri-Sun 5AM-5PM includes a 12% shift differential

D Shift: Fri-Sun 5PM-5AM includes a 15% shift differential

Essential Mental and Physical Functions

• This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery
• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment

• Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.
• Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
• Compliance with all company safety and operational policies is mandatory
