Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I for our manufacturing facility. You will load production files, set up equipment for daily runs, monitor performance, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean work area. Collaboration with teammates is essential to hit production targets.

The role requires stamina for repetitive tasks, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage. Indoor production setting with exposure to noise and chemicals. AAON, Inc.

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Load production files and prepare machines for operation according to instructions.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
• Replenish materials and consumables needed for machine operation.

• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Document basic production data and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Starting Rate: $23.10 plus a 12% shift differential with the opportunity for a higher starting rate based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Essential Mental and Physical Functions

• This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Use of fine motor skills and visual acuity for inspecting components and operating machinery
• Ability to operate a computer, mouse, and basic input devices
• Must be able to respond to visual and auditory machine indicators

Work Environment

Machine Operator I roles are performed in a production facility where safety, cleanliness, and efficiency are prioritized.

Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting

Exposure to loud noise, dust, and chemical fumes

Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and steel-toed boots

This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role and is subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing
