Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Landisville, PA is seeking a team-oriented operator to support a manufacturing operation. You will help drive productivity, manage machine setups and quality checks, and contribute to safe, efficient production on every shift.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste.
• Responsible for leading machine crew with setups and changeovers by mounting printing plates and/or cutting dies.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets required dimensions and there are zero material defects.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Problem solves when issues arise with machine.
• Perform other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Starting salary for position: $27.77 per hour.
• Bonus: Annual - Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
• Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
