Job summary

Conagra Brands in Macomb, Michigan is seeking a Production Associate to monitor and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring continuous production of Duke's Meat Snacks. Join a team of 50+ associates at our Macomb, MI facility.

You will operate a variety of machines, supply lines, perform quality checks, and collaborate across departments to maintain safety and quality while supporting ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Job description

Shift: 6:00 AM-4:00 PM Hourly Rate: $19.00 an hour Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will monitor and troubleshoot the operation of production equipment to ensure continuous production at our Macomb, MI facility producing Duke's Meat Snacks. You will join a team of over 50 associates.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• You will operate a variety of machines and production equipment.
• You will monitor and troubleshoot production equipment to support continuous operations.
• You will supply production lines to ensure a continuous production flow.
• You will perform product quality checks to help ensure products meet consumer expectations.
• You will collaborate with multiple departments to support production demands and maintain quality standards.
• You will help maintain a clean work area in compliance with food safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
• You will support ongoing efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• You will cross-train on additional equipment and processes as needed.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Willingness to cross-train across multiple production areas.

Physical Requirements More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
