Job summary

Sika AG in Gastonia, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to assist the shift supervisor and coordinate production activities. Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product.
• Operates manufacturing line and can vary operating conditions to maintain quality.
• Performs quality testing and corrects out-of-spec conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more production lines/equipment.
• Start up hot oil heater and water chillers.
• Ensure production schedule is adhered to.
• Assist in training new production employees.
• Perform some maintenance on presses and report needed repairs.
• Assist in labeling and packing parts.
