Sika in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate one or more manufacturing lines, adjust operating conditions to maintain quality, and support the shift supervisor.

You will perform quality testing, assist in training new production staff, and help with labeling and packing parts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with metric measurements, basic computer skills, and forklift operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of metric system; computer literate; able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more production lines and coordinate with shift supervisor.
• Perform quality testing and correct out-of-spec conditions.
• Start up hot oil heater and water chillers; adjust as needed.

About the RoleOverview of the RoleSika is looking for experienced Machine Operator to join it’s growing team in Gastonia, NC.This position will assist the shift supervisor in coordinating the work of production employees involved in production activities. Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes and product. Operates manufacturing line. Requires the ability to vary prescribed operating conditions as necessary to produce quality parts.
