Job summary

Sika Schweiz AG (Group) in Gastonia, NC seeks a production operator for 1st to 3rd shifts to support quality-driven manufacturing. You will perform quality testing, inspect finished goods, apply FG labels, and assist line operators in resolving issues.

You will help maintain safety, follow SOPs/WIs, record daily production logs, and may train and assist new staff. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as required; overtime on Saturdays may apply.

Qualifications

• Perform quality testing and identify out-of-spec conditions.
• Assist in coordinating daily activities of production helpers to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Maintain accurate daily production records and logs.

Responsibilities

• Stop production to correct quality problems.
• Inspect finished goods for weight, thickness, and dimensions per Pack-Cat specs.
• Print, verify, and apply FG labels to packaged containers.
• Assist production line operators in resolving quality-related issues.
• Assist in training new production employees on SOPs, WIs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Perform Press Operator duties as needed when qualified and authorized.
• Maintain daily production records and submit logs to the Supervisor.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as required.
• Comply with all company policies, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
