Machine Operator / Production Associate Location: Talladega, AL Pay: $16 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Hire Encadria Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator and Production Associates to support Georgia Pacific's Talladega facility. This is a hands?on role working in a utility capacity, supporting multiple areas of the mill and learning core production operations.

About the Role

This role requires working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and includes walking, standing, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift. Employees will occasionally work on elevated platforms and catwalks approximately 15 to 20 feet above ground level. These work areas are designed for routine operations and do not require employees to use fall-protection harnesses or perform lockout/tagout procedures independently. This position works rotating day and night shifts. Day shifts run 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Night shifts run 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The schedule is Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays as needed.

What You Will Do

Basic Requirements

• At least one year of manufacturing, industrial, military, or heavy equipment experience
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Ability to work in hot, cold, humid, and noisy environmentsAbility to lift, walk, climb, stoop, stand, push, and pull for up to twelve hours
• Ability to work at heights and on catwalks
• Ability to wear all required PPE
• Employment is contingent on passing a drug test where permitted by law

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years in manufacturing
• Forklift experience
• Computer use for documentation
• Experience in lumber or wood products
